J. Richard Smith, of Gloustershire, England, is a world renounded expert on World War II German aviation, having authored dozens of titles, over 30 years, on various topics dealing with the aviation of Germany during the time of the Third Reich. His many published works deal with aircraft histories of such important works as German Aircraft of the Second World War, Focke-Wulf an Aircraft Album, Messerschmitt an Aircraft Album, Luftwaffe Colors, Jet Planes of the Third Reich and Monarch 1, Arado 234 Blitz. He is currently co-author to The Official Monogram German Aircraft Color Guide 1930-1945, scheduled for publication in 2000.

This is one of the best books written on essential oils specific to emotional concerns. I'm a therapist and I use oils with my clients. This book has helped me really hone in on what oils to target for specific issues. The book is well written and sometimes I just pick it up to read for pleasure-not just for work. I've given this book as a gift to other therapists and aromatherapy practitioners. This is a must have book.

A Delight

This book is an absolute delight and is much more than I expected. It gives us some therapeutic foundations and goes onto explain where emotional and mental problems originate in our bodies. The author talks about each essential oils signature and explains how each one works in regards to our emotions and mental well-being. The third section explains the blending for the well being of our emotional and mental balance and provides a few blends for each.

Some people may think this is "too" Zen or "too" traditional oriental however many people suffer from their emotions being out of balance which often lead to physical problems; this book helps to understand that imbalance and gives us some understanding in correcting them through the use of essential oils.

Well written, easy to understand, and provides excellent information. I will be using this book as a reference often. I have already found and used a suggested blend for someone who "over thinks" while trying to sleep...they have already noticed a difference.

Great book to relate essential oils to Chinese Five Organ and Five Element Theories

I have been using Young Living essential oils for eight years and have been teaching Tai Chi and Qigong for the last five years. This book clearly ties the essential oils to the concepts of Tai Chi and Qigong energy and balance and the Chinese Five Organ and Five Element Theories. The author describes the general properties of quite a few essential oils, which ones have similar properties, and which oils to use for certain emotional states of imbalance, including how what symptoms might indicate which side of the imbalance. I'm about half way through the book, but I have read and re-read each page at least three times to digest all the information.

"Susan M. Turley" is an experienced educator and practitioner in many areas of health care. She has worked in acute care, managed care, long-term care, and the physician's office and has held positions in nursing, quality management, infection control, medical assisting, medical transcription, and health information management.

This is an excellent book. It discusses not only what cloud computing is, but the best method of how you can move your applications into the cloud. The content is well organized and written. I liked the fact that it described the history of the technology and a detailed description of how it actually works. Describing how cloud computing actually works sets it apart from other cloud computing books that I read which only scratched the surface.

You can tell the author has a lot of experience in cloud computing and IT in general. This was evident not only by the content of the book but by all the certifications listed after his name. I also liked the fact that he was not afraid to talk about past projects that were unsuccessful. He explained why things failed and how to avoid the same bumps in the road that he experienced. It is always good to learn about not only what works, but what does not work (and why!).

The book also discusses the business side of cloud computing. I liked the 4 D's methodology for migrating to the cloud. It was easy for me to understand the basic premise and the logical flow made sense to me.

I see the book as being a good reference for me in the future. I will definitely refer back to it when I need to revisit business and technical concepts of cloud computing. Surprisingly, the book also had a little humor sprinkled throughout which was very refreshing to me. I highly recommend the book.

I found the in-depth discussions about the underlying technologies that enable cloud computing easy to understand and very helpful. There is also detailed discussion on the security issues related to cloud technology, and a very insightful 4-step methodology with instructions and examples that federal agencies and commercial enterprises can rapidly put to practical use.

I also appreciated the section on analyzing the return on investment of migrating enterprise applications to the cloud and linking KPIs to business/mission outcomes. I plan to keep this book on my desk as a quick reference guide.

I enjoyed reading the book

I enjoyed reading the book. It was concise and had great tables to illustrate the similarities and differences of architectures. Of more importance, Ray clearly understands the importance of software and systems engineering disciplines in an ever growing complex information system.
